Once a designer and interactive developer, Jackson eventually came to Facebook as a member of the User Interface Engineering team. Over the years, he’s worked on a variety of teams and projects from the UI libraries that Facebook product engineers use to build the site to the nuts and bolts of the Timeline experience for mobile devices. Now a member of the London engineering team, Jackson is helping build internal tools and define the direction of the Facebook’s UK engineering culture.
